Description SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time Parham Doctors' Hospital , a campus of Henrico Doctors' Hospital, is located in the west end of Richmond. Parham Doctors' Hospital is a 200-bed facility offering medical and surgical programs including orthopedics, behavioral health, bariatrics, imaging, rehabilitation services, 24-hour emergency care, sleep disorder, podiatry, primary care, and occupational health. The Parham Doctors' Hospital campus is home to The Orthopedic Hospital, one of the most honored joint and spine programs in the state. SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* 1. Provides tele-nursing care to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals. 2. Utilizes computer skills to assist in the collection and analysis of a variety of patient and other data. 3. Actively complies with and supports Center Performance Improvement initiatives. 4. Communicates effectively with a variety of internal and external customers. Qualifications EXPERIENCE Required - Five years of current RN experience in the specialty field of adult critical care. One to two years recent experience in a role requiring effective communication and collaboration with other health care professionals. Must be able to demonstrate evidence of ability to cope effectively with change. Preferred - More years of current staff RN experience in the specialty field of adult critical care. EDUCATION Required - Licensed as an RN in Virginia. Current BLS and ACLS-Provider certification. Proficiency with Windows-based computer operations. Preferred - Bachelor degree and/or other advanced education in nursing. Current CCRN certification.
