Description SHIFT: Nights (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing excellent nursing care for your patients, our delivering mothers and their newborn babies? We are a 292-bed acute care hospital , located in the upbeat, North Chesterfield area, a short drive from Chesterfield Town Center, offering an abundance of restaurants and shops. Our hospital offers a full range of healthcare services, with specialties in maternal infant, inpatient rehabilitation, cancer care in coordination with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, emergency care via our level III trauma center, and neuroscience, including our Gamma Knife Center. Maternal Infant/Labor and Delivery We offer a full range of integrated women's health services for all stages of our patients' lives. Our team of highly-trained Gynecologists, Obstetricians, Perinatologists, Anesthesiologists and Registered Nurses provide our patients family-centered care that is rooted in compassion. Our unit has received the Blue Diamond Award from Anthem BCBS for Superior Maternity Care. Our Maternal Infant Unit (MIU) includes a 24-bed Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) , with spacious rooms our patients remain in for the duration of their stay. In addition to the LDRP rooms, we have 3 overflow Postpartum rooms, a Nursery, and 2 Obstetrics (OB) Operating Rooms . For high-risk pregnancies and childbirths, we maintain a 20-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), multiple maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and 24/7 Neonatologist and anesthesia coverage. For the community we offer outreach education programs and classes such as Preparation for Labor, Labor Basics, Baby Basics, Breast-Feeding Classes and Support Group, Postpartum Support Group, Sibling Class, and Class for Multiples. Qualifications Education : Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required) BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred) Licensure/Certifications: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a Registered Nurse (required) American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required) ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification (preferred) Experience : At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience (required) 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred) Hours: Full-Time, (Part-Time and PRN may also be available) 12-Hour Shifts, Days from 7am-7pm or Nights from 7pm to 7am Weekend and Holiday Rotations HCA Rewards: HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune's list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the Fortune 500 list.
